angels will be practicing this afternoon over the bay. if you look up you'll see them. let's turn to our solo reporter live along the embarcadero talking about some of the action and what is going on. hi, yoli. >> it kicks off today. and it's here at pier 30, 32 with the u.s. macon island carrier. they are starting it off with the two-day seminar on disaster response andheim attorney relief -- humanitarian relief. you have the mayor of san francisco coming down to give opening remarks to the seminar. then we go later on in the day with the practicing of the blue angels. so you are going to see them around 1:00. that is when you can start looking in the air and they will do a couple of passes. around 3:00 they will start doing some practice maneuvers as well. let's show you video of them from last year. this is what is going to be a very busy weekend. of course they will be doing a show on friday, saturday and sunday. aside from the blue angels, the headliners, you also have a bunch of other aircraft that are going to be doing a show. that starts earlier in the day. so really all the sho

los angeles say work is right on schedule to reopen a ten mile stretch of one of the world's busiest freeways by tomorrow morning's commute. take a live look at the 405 interstate over the pass connecting west l.a. to the san fernando valley. the freeway has been shut down since friday night while crews demolish an overpass. it's being called carmageddon 2 because of the potential to create a traffic nightmare throughout l.a. if work doesn't get finished in time. last year was carmageddon 1 and the first phase went just fine. this time caltran says so far so good. >>> a record number of riders are taking caltrain so now the system is adding six more trains starting tomorrow. two will be brand new trains. four others that were mothballed because of budget cuts are being restored. caltrain is also rearranging its schedule to give passengers greater flexibility. it is also adding a silicon valley stop for twelve limited service trains in. in june caltrain averaged 50,000 riders every weekday. >> lisa argen is describing a mini heat train. >> that's a good way to put it. the forecast for
